CLASS OF SEPTEMBER 2010 - INAUGURAL CLASS OF THE SHC HALL OF FAME

Top Five Player-Selected Hall of Fame Inductees - 2 finished in 1st and 2nd place, and 3 heroes tied for 3rd place.
Gerald Hall, aka the Banker, is one of the earliest competitors in Superhero City to compete for the Top Hero spot in the game. It was the Banker who amazingly handed ThinkingStiff his first losses. The Banker became leader of the Galactic Guardians shortly after they changed their name from LaB and led the Galactic Guardians into prominence as one of SHC's premier leagues. The Banker helped spur a ground-breaking Role-Play when his character succumbed to evil and he ended up leading the Demon Brood. The Banker is still one of the most powerful players around, and his necktie is known to be a fierce adversary as well, which can be attested by Burning Daylight.
Lee Mudway, aka Bloke, is a powerful hero who started on the ground floor of Superhero City. A member of the original Alliance, Lee crafted a character which quickly rose to the top of the SHC leaderboards. In addition to his game-playing, Lee's active participation in the Forum helped many young heroes craft their own characters. His guidance, advice, ideas and strong opinions were vitally important in creating the SHC "community" that we all enjoy today. For his help, his experience, his power and his impact on the game, Bloke is one of Superhero City's most respected heroes.
Michael Clark, aka Sable, also affectionately known to some as Dr. Mike, is the epitome of a friendly hero, always ready to communicate with those who want to talk. Sable is one of the most experienced heros, having put a lot of hard-fought time into gaining and maintaining a top level among all active heroes. Sable is also one of SHC's "first class" of uber-powerful heroes, and he set a standard for many of SHC's top heroes to follow. By all accounts, Sable (and Dr. Mike) is an all-around class act respected throughout the entire City. And of course anytime Sable communicates on the Forum, he usually doesn't leave without giving his now famous "fist bump."
Chih Chan, aka Strange Quark, is far from your average quark. Once captured by the Zigonians who were sent by Warlord Quasar, Strange Quark was able to escape with the aid of molecular rearrangement. The Zigonians soon learned that they shouldn't have messed with Strange Quark as he became one of the first heroes to take out 3000 Zigonians, as well as taking the top spot on the Champion leaderboard after ThinkingStiff hung up his cape (see below). Quark never hesitated to help heroes in need and readily provided vast amounts of service in Superhero City, continuing to do so to this day.
Matt Walton, aka ThinkingStiff, was the original "Number One Hero" in Superhero City. He dominated the leaderboard back when it was only one leaderboard. Having played since the game's inception, ThinkingStiff unbelievably had zero losses for about four or five months. However, never did ThinkingStiff brag about his perfect record. It was Matt who presented the idea of a win percentage leaderboard (though what he had actually proposed would have lined up a little more with a King of the Hill board in retrospect). At the end of his tenure, to avoid conflicts among players that may have negatively impacted SHC, Matt made the supremely selfless decision to retire ThinkingStiff from the field of action. The orignal "Great" of SHC, ThinkingStiff left on his own accord for the good of the game.

Karl Stephen Pan, aka Karlito's Way, started up Nine Planet's Crusade without a bunch of set restrictions and was able to build it up to one of the more competitive leagues in the City. The most senior heroes remember when players would ask to join up with Karlito's Way but said they didn't think they would be strong enough, and Karlito's Way would tell them that all players start out in the same position, and that if they were willing to work hard and build there hero there could be a place for them in 9PC.
Jonah Hanft, aka Lord Vindictus, was one of the earliest role-playing heroes on the Forum with his creative posts. He spurred the Forums with his posts from the office of the High Chancellor, providing some guidance to players in the fight against the Zigonian Invasion. His RP on the Forum helped shape the Forum into an integral part of Superhero City along with the actual game app itself. Lord Vindictus was also one of the original titans of the game, alongside ThinkingStiff and Bloke.

SHC League Hall of Fame Inductee selected by the Council of Elders.

The original Alliance consisted of several people that were called out by the Zigonians in there first transmission during the Zigonian Invasion, as well as other well-deserving members. The Alliance was a big name in the fight against the Zigonians and went so far as to go on a secret mission on a Zigonian mother ship to find out exactly what the Zigonians were up to (as evidenced in one of the videos KN made). The original Alliance was essentially the first dream team of SHC powers, called out by the Zigonians. After the Zigonian saga, leagues began to take form. This is the Alliance was consolidated as a league. Heroes included in the team generally recognized as "Original Alliance" were Bloke, The Bull, The Wise Tushie, Mr E, Force, then shortly thereafter Sable joined.
